Examples of DIYer projects

Due to pilot error, I will need to find projects and repost them here.

Here's a simple DIYer design, this set runs on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State. It recently ran for a full day to cover the power outage created by a storm. The owner deleted the (poor idea) terminals on the dog house and made all connections inside where they belong. This set uses an auto radiator for thermal cooling, it runs at 195F. See the vice grips on the frame? This was all that was required to test run this set at 1800 RPMs..... smooth because of the counter balance shafts. If you look at the thermal cooling plate, you'll see flanges and connectors that house a common American thermostat to maintain temperature. What could be easier?

Here's a picture from Andy Wood, he bolted a Chinese  195 to this Sears garden Tractor. Torque generated by the long stroke diesel alloed it to cut grass like never before. I paid $650 to have a 12hp garden tractor engine rebuilt; i wish I would have gone this route.
