If you could shield-block turn off and on the magnetic forces in a magnet as the motor spins, then maybe you could make a magnet motor run by itself. So a moving magnet pulls on another magnet then when it passes by, the magnetic force is gone away weaker so as not to slow down the movement it gained as it accelerated together.
The sun in space is the best thing we have regarding perpetual energy, and also the inner heat within the earth.

I appreciate your post, it’s great you add to the conversation. I must admit, there are a lot of people who think like you do, but it’s just not possible. Your example of the sun being our best example of perpetual energy is not true either, the sun is in the process of burning up…. it WILL simply run out of energy one day, the fuel gauge will hit empty, and it’s fuel that powers the sun, it burns millions of tons of fuel a minute. As for the earths core, We literally live on the surface of a reactor, and radio activity is responsible for the molten core. Thsoe who are dead against living near reactors, need consider their alternatives.
Back to your magnet machine. I like to think of magnets in the same way I think of a heavy rock held 10 feet off the ground.. no doubt, there’s energy to be captured as the rock falls, but you need lift it again to do more work.. Magnets are very similiar..
